About Kareyo

Kareyo started after watching small NDIS providers spend more time wrestling with admin than caring for the people they support. Shifts were rostered in one spreadsheet, invoices chased in another, and service agreement expiry dates tracked in a third. None of it was built for how a sole trader or small team actually works day to day.

Most software built for the NDIS sector is designed for large organisations, with dozens of staff, dedicated admin teams, and six-figure budgets. Sole traders and small teams get left with the same complexity, minus the resources to manage it. That gap is what Kareyo exists to close.

Built with input, not in isolation

Kareyo isn't built by guesswork. Every feature comes out of direct conversations with NDIS providers, support coordinators, and other people working in disability services: what's actually slowing them down, what they've already tried, and what they wish existed. That feedback loop is as much a part of the team as anyone writing code, and being small means a suggestion can go from a conversation to a shipped feature in days rather than quarters, since there's no product committee to get through first.

Simplicity over feature bloat

The goal from day one has been staying out of the way. Every addition to Kareyo has to earn its place, and if it doesn't make a real difference to how a small provider spends their day, it doesn't ship. Shift scheduling, AI-assisted progress notes, invoicing, and service agreement reminders are all built around the same question: does this actually save a small team time?

Participant data is treated as sensitive, not an afterthought

NDIS providers hold detailed personal information about the people they support, including incident reports, progress notes, and medical and behavioural context. Kareyo staff never access participant data as part of routine platform maintenance, and every part of the product is built with that boundary in mind rather than added on later.

Kareyo is still young and still changing. New features ship regularly, and most of them exist because a provider asked for exactly that. If something is slowing your team down that Kareyo doesn't solve yet, that's exactly the kind of feedback that shapes what gets built next.

Kareyo is made in Australia, for Australian NDIS providers, and will keep being shaped by the people who use it every day.
